Pretty bummed! I put in a request around 7am CST yesterday and still haven't received a reply so I'm expecting a denial :(

Yep! As expected just got an email saying the rates were the same :/

Not that it always works, but sometimes (especially with 24-hour deals like this one), I'll resubmit my claim form about 1 or 2 pm. Sometimes this results in a quicker response from them. (emphasis on sometimes!)

Trying this again! *fingers crossed*

Also - what do you think about ChoiceHotel BRG integrity? You see, I found a deal with the St. James Hotel in NO on easytobook.com and the price I see (consistently and from separate devices such as phone, tablet, computer, incognito window, etc, f5, refresh - clear cache, etc) is lower and over 1% difference that the rate I booked and I've submitted 3 claims ea time verifying that I am still seeing the lower rate and they counterback that the rate I am claiming is lower is actually the same as their rate. I don't get it.

In the past, others have reported to me this very same problem using Easytobook! Your experience has even happened to me! The weird thing is, sometimes I'd seen their lower rate for a particular hotel only to check again a bit later and find it the same as Choice's! It will fluctuate back-and-forth for some peculiar reason. It's very possible Choice is being honest about seeing the rates as the same. What I can't figure out is why the rate will show one way at one time and show up differently the next!

Ah. That's so strange! Yes... I noticed when I would F5, the rate *might* change BUT it was still lower. Every time I checked, it was always lower even if it was ranging between 3-4$ difference. For example, this morning - I was checking email just as I received a rejected claim so I immediately opened up ETB in an incognito window and it was $10 lower that what the representative just said it was! I wonder if it has to do with where we are connecting from? Do you think that would make a difference? Someone in CA would see different rates as opposed to someone in TX?

I doubt it. But regardless of the causes, the CSR just isn't seeing it .. so it's probably best to move on.

Perhaps someone else may have experience with this and will eventually chime in in these comments. Until then, it's one of those unsolved mysteries!

Make sure you use a valid CC when reserving, esp. if you get an approval! I always use a dummy (an old prepaid with like, .20 on it) and I received a voicemail on Tuesday from the Blake advising that I needed a valid card on the reservation or it would be cancelled by noon the following day. Glad I checked my voicemail or else I would have lost my BRG :)
