This may just be me, but I've noticed increased delayed response times lately when there's only one OTA carrying the lower price. It does make you wonder if Choice is delaying a decision until they force the OTA to remove the offending price. My claim for the Giacomo has now been sitting over a day un-answered. The same thing occurred for my claim for Staten Island; where the sale price on priceline was removed before the ending period advertised and then I was denied; well over a day later. Any other BRG's where multiple OTA carry the lower price is approved with-in hours or same day if done by noon. It does make me wonder.

Stressful, isn't it? Makes us all wonder! This "delay" in response seems most frequent with the most sought after properties (Ascends, NYC deals etc...)

If many hours have elapsed, my advice is to resubmit the claim. Just do so within 24 hours of the booking. I've done this repeatedly and have never had a response take more than 24 hours. I always book around 8 or 9 am California time. I Resubmit around 2 or 3. The latest I've ever heard back was early the next morning (shortest response was about 1 hour).

As expected, denied just now. The price is even wrong that they claimed the OTA to be. Not even going to bother disputing Jared. I noticed all my denied BRG's had one thing in common this week....Priceline.

Priceline was also the only OTA with the cheaper price in all those cases. Think I'll avoid deals where Priceline is just the only choice from now on.
